Western Oklahoma State College Shooting Team Captures CAA Championship at ACUI Greater Midwest Super Shoot

The Western Oklahoma State College Shooting Team delivered an outstanding performance this past weekend in Grand Island, Nebraska, claiming the Classical All Around (CAA) Championship at the ACUI Greater Midwest Super Shoot.

 

The Pioneers showcased their depth and consistency across multiple events, earning top finishes in several disciplines:

  • CAA – 1st Place 

  • Skeet – 1st Place 

  • Doubles Skeet – Tied for 2nd Place 

  • Sporting Clays – 4th Place

  • Trap – 8th Place

Individually, WOSC athletes dominated the leaderboard, particularly in the women's division.

  • CAA Champion: Baylee Pence

  • CAA Runner-Up: Madison Miller 

  • Men's CAA: Kace Angelly (tied for 10th)

In Doubles Skeet, WOSC swept the women's podium:

  •  Emily Robertson – Champion

  •  Baylee Pence – Runner-up

  • Madison Miller – 3rd Place

  • Alex Palmer also placed among the top men, tying for 5th.

In Skeet, Baylee Pence turned in a perfect score of 100 to capture the championship, followed by Emily Robertson as runner-up and Madison Miller tying for 9th. On the men's side, Tanner Moles claimed runner-up honors, with Kace Angelly finishing 4th, Alex Palmer 5th, and Jayce Garrett tying for 9th.

In Sporting Clays, Madison Miller earned 3rd place and Baylee Pence finished 4th, while in Trap, Miller tied for 4th and Pence tied for 6th.

The Pioneers' strong performance highlights the team's continued excellence and teamwork across multiple shooting disciplines as they head into the rest of their season.
