Former Pioneer sets New Franchise Record
Former Pioneer, Casey Sadler, continues making his name known across the MLB. After his 26th consecutive scoreless appearance on the mound Tuesday, Septmeber 28th, he has set a new franchise record for the Seattle Mariners for "scoreless appearances".
Sadler was a vital member of the Western baseball team and worked just as hard in the classroom, as he did on the field! While at Western, Casey was also names Mr. WOSC for excellence in the class. He is currently a relief pitcher for the Mariners, after being selected during the 2010 Major League Baseball draft.
