Western Pioneers Nabs Win Over El Paso Despite Early 3-Run Inning

Even though Wosc Pioneers gave up three runs in the seventh inning, they still defeated El Paso 6-3 on Saturday.  El Paso's big inning was driven by a single by #2, a home run by #35, and a fielder's choice by #10.

In the second inning, Wosc Pioneers got their offense started.  Angel Polanco grounded out, scoring one run.

Wosc Pioneers tallied three runs in the third inning.  The offensive onslaught by Wosc Pioneers was led by Dariel Osoria and Angel Cano, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Fabian Hernandez pitched Wosc Pioneers to victory. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out six and walking one.

#33 took the loss for El Paso. The bulldog surrendered one run on four hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one.

#36 started the game for El Paso. The hurler allowed five hits and five runs over three innings, striking out two

Wosc Pioneers socked one home run on the day. Cano had a dinger in the third inning.

Osoria led Wosc Pioneers with two hits in three at bats.  Wosc Pioneers didn't commit a single error in the field. Jean Espinal had  seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

#2 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead El Paso in hits.
