Kevin Throws Shutout as Wosc Pioneers Defeats Carl Albert State College Vikings Varsity

Kevin Bakker shut down Carl Albert State College  Vikings Varsity, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Wosc Pioneers to a 5-0 victory on Friday

Wosc Pioneers got on the board in the second inning.  Jorge Aldrete hit a solo homer.

Wosc Pioneers put up three runs in the sixth inning.  Wosc Pioneers offense in the inning was led by Dariel Osoria and Derek Cerda, who all drove in runs.

A single by Trey Migl in the first inning was a positive for Carl Albert State College  Vikings Varsity.

Bakker took the win for Wosc Pioneers. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Trey Jordan took the loss for Carl Albert State College  Vikings Varsity. The righty allowed eight hits and five runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Wosc Pioneers hit three home runs on the day. Cerda put one out in the fifth inning. Osoria went deep in the sixth inning. Aldrete had a long ball in the second inning.

Wosc Pioneers racked up eight hits in the game.  Cerda and Osoria each racked up multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Cerda went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Wosc Pioneers in hits.

Migl led Carl Albert State College  Vikings Varsity with two hits in three at bats.  Carl Albert State College  Vikings Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Braden Riggs had the most chances in the field with eight.
