Wosc Pioneers defeated Coastal Bend College 5-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Angel Miranda struck out #34 to finish off the game.

Wosc Pioneers fired up the offense in the third inning, when Tyriq Kemp's sac fly scored one run for Wosc Pioneers.

One bright spot for Coastal Bend College was a single by #14 in the fourth inning.

Breyllin Suriel was the winning pitcher for Wosc Pioneers. The righty went eight innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out eight and walking one.  Miranda threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Wosc Pioneers collected 11 hits on the day.  Angel Polanco and Dariel Osoria each had multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Osoria and Polanco each collected two hits to lead Wosc Pioneers.  Wosc Pioneers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jose Vega made the most plays with  nine.

Coastal Bend College didn't commit a single error in the field. #7 had the most chances in the field with eight.
