Wosc Pioneers Falls to Seminole State Trojans Varsity After Seventh Inning Score

Wosc Pioneers stayed in it until the end, but Seminole State Trojans Varsity pulled away late in a 13-7 victory on Tuesday.  The game was tied at three with Seminole State Trojans Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Houston Russell drew a walk, scoring one run.

Despite the loss, Wosc Pioneers did collect six hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Seminole State Trojans Varsity had 14 hits on the way to victory.

Wosc Pioneers opened up scoring in the first inning.  Wosc Pioneers scored one run when Angel Cano singled.

In the top of the fourth inning, Seminole State Trojans Varsity tied things up at three.  Martell Davis's sac fly scored one run for Seminole State Trojans Varsity.

Wosc Pioneers tallied four runs in the eighth inning.  Wosc Pioneers's big inning was driven by a single by Cristopher Munoz, a groundout by Javi Marcial, and a double by Jose Vega.

Seminole State Trojans Varsity scored six runs in the eighth inning.  The offensive firepower by Seminole State Trojans Varsity was led by Xavier Casserilla, Russell,  Jackson Halter, and Connor Owens, all driving in runs in the inning.

Preston Pattison pitched Seminole State Trojans Varsity to victory. Pattison allowed three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out one.  A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Bauer Brittan, Alexis Hurens, Taylon Laxson, and Micah Cloud all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Dariel Osoria was on the hill for Wosc Pioneers. Osoria went four and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out four.  Klevert Martina, Andrws Acosta, and Angel Miranda each contributed in relief for Wosc Pioneers.

Munoz, Cano, Osoria, Vega, Tyriq Kemp, and Angel Polanco each managed one hit to lead Wosc Pioneers.

Seminole State Trojans Varsity tallied 14 hits.  Halter, Casserilla, Colt Randall, and Blake Nichols each had multiple hits for Seminole State Trojans Varsity.  Halter went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Seminole State Trojans Varsity in hits.
