Wosc Pioneers Claims Lead in Ninth Inning to Defeat National Park College Nighthawks Official

Wosc Pioneers snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-2 victory over National Park College Nighthawks Official on Sunday.  The game was tied at two with Wosc Pioneers batting in the top of the ninth when Cristopher Munoz singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

In the top of the fifth inning, Wosc Pioneers tied things up at one.  Jorge Aldrete hit a solo homer.

Fabian Hernandez got the win for Wosc Pioneers. The southpaw went eight innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out 11 and walking zero.  Angel Miranda threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jaden Lewis was on the mound for National Park College Nighthawks Official. The righthander allowed seven hits and two runs over six innings, striking out three.  #37, #8, and #48 each contributed in relief for National Park College Nighthawks Official.

Wosc Pioneers smacked three home runs on the day. Derek Cerda had a long ball in the ninth inning. Angel Cano had a dinger in the ninth inning. Aldrete went deep in the fifth inning.

Wosc Pioneers tallied 15 hits on the day.  Aldrete, Munoz, Thomas Lora, Cesar Franco, and Cano all had multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Munoz and Aldrete all had three hits to lead Wosc Pioneers.  Wosc Pioneers didn't commit a single error in the field. Jean Espinal had the most chances in the field with 12.
