Jorge Aldrete collected five hits in six at bats, as Wosc Pioneers defeated Seminole State Trojans Varsity 13-6 on Tuesday.  Aldrete homered in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, doubled in the seventh, and singled in the ninth.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Wosc Pioneers collected 20 hits and Seminole State Trojans Varsity had nine.

Wosc Pioneers fired up the offense in the first inning.  Wosc Pioneers scored three runs when Aldrete homered.

Wosc Pioneers put up four runs in the third inning.  Derek Cerda and Tyriq Kemp all drove in runs in the frame.

Seminole State Trojans Varsity scored three runs in the sixth inning.  Seminole State Trojans Varsity big bats were led by Vinny Saumell and Slade McCloud, all driving in runs in the inning.

Marshall Albertsz earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Wosc Pioneers. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out three and walking one.  Angel Miranda recorded the last eight outs to earn the save for Wosc Pioneers.

Preston Pattison took the loss for Seminole State Trojans Varsity. The righthander went two-thirds of an inning, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out one.

Nikosi Didder started the game for Wosc Pioneers. The righty allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, walking zero

Wosc Pioneers tallied two home runs on the day. Cerda put one out in the third inning. Aldrete had a dinger in the first inning.

Wosc Pioneers totaled 20 hits in the game.  Aldrete, Dariel Osoria, Cerda, Angel Cano, and Cristopher Munoz each had multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Aldrete went 5-for-6 at the plate to lead Wosc Pioneers in hits.

Seminole State Trojans Varsity racked up nine hits in the game.  Jackson Halter and Blake Nichols each racked up multiple hits for Seminole State Trojans Varsity.  Halter led Seminole State Trojans Varsity with three hits in four at bats.
