Two Pitchers Team Up as Wosc Pioneers Shuts Out UA Rich Mountain Bucks

Wosc Pioneers defeated UA Rich Mountain Bucks 8-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Nikosi Didder induced a double-play from Trenton Smith to finish off the game.

In the first inning, Wosc Pioneers got their offense started when Derek Cerda singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Wosc Pioneers tallied three runs in the fifth inning.  The offensive onslaught by Wosc Pioneers was led by Thomas Lora and Tyriq Kemp, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

A single by Cooper White in the first inning was a positive for UA Rich Mountain Bucks.

Kevin Bakker earned the victory on the hill for Wosc Pioneers. Bakker lasted six innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking one.  Didder threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jackson Wilson took the loss for UA Rich Mountain Bucks. The bulldog allowed ten hits and eight runs over six innings, striking out one.

Wosc Pioneers hit two home runs on the day. Dariel Osoria went for the long ball in the first inning. Cristopher Munoz went deep in the third inning.

Wosc Pioneers saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game.  Lora, Cerda, and Munoz all had multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Munoz, Cerda, and Lora each collected two hits to lead Wosc Pioneers.  Wosc Pioneers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jorge Aldrete made the most plays with  eight.

Blake Hadsell went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead UA Rich Mountain Bucks in hits.
