Osoria's Walk-off Gives Wosc Pioneers Victory Over UA Rich Mountain Bucks

Wosc Pioneers took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple UA Rich Mountain Bucks.  The game was tied at five with Wosc Pioneers batting in the bottom of the eleventh when Dariel Osoria doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

UA Rich Mountain Bucks opened up scoring in the second inning, when Trevor Flake homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Wosc Pioneers evened things up at five in the bottom of the ninth inning.  Angel Cano drove in one when Cano singled.

Wosc Pioneers tallied three runs in the third inning.  Wosc Pioneers scored its runs on a home run by Osoria.

Angel Miranda led things off on the mound for Wosc Pioneers. The pitcher allowed nine hits and five runs over nine innings, striking out 12 and walking zero.

Jack Henry Pettitt started the game for UA Rich Mountain Bucks. The bulldog went eight innings, allowing five runs on 12 hits, striking out two and walking one.  Jacob Pannell and Ashton Perkins entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and one inning respectively.

Wosc Pioneers hit one home run on the day. Osoria went deep in the third inning.

Wosc Pioneers collected 15 hits on the day.  Osoria, Cano, Cristopher Munoz, Derek Cerda, and Cesar Franco each collected multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Munoz, Cano, and Osoria each collected three hits to lead Wosc Pioneers.

UA Rich Mountain Bucks tallied ten hits in the game.  Casey Shipley, Trenton Smith, and Randon Ray all managed multiple hits for UA Rich Mountain Bucks.  Shipley went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead UA Rich Mountain Bucks in hits.  UA Rich Mountain Bucks was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Smith made the most plays with  eight.
