Wosc Pioneers Falls to SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 After Fifth Inning Score

Wosc Pioneers lost the lead late in an 8-7 defeat to SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 on Wednesday.  SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 was down 6-5 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Elijah Nichols doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Wosc Pioneers collected 12 hits and SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 had 12 in the high-scoring affair.

In the first inning, Wosc Pioneers got their offense started when Derek Cerda hit a solo homer.

In the bottom of the second inning, SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 tied things up at two when Kevin Bakker induced Brennan Jones to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Wosc Pioneers scored three runs in the third inning.  Wosc Pioneers scored its runs on an RBI home run by Thomas Lora.

Wosc Pioneers socked three home runs on the day. Cerda put one out in the first inning. Lora went yard in the third inning. Angel Cano had a four bagger in the first inning.

Wosc Pioneers tallied 12 hits.  Cano, Jose Vega, and Dariel Osoria all managed multiple hits for Wosc Pioneers.  Cano led Wosc Pioneers with three hits in three at bats.

SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 racked up 12 hits in the game.  Nichols, Beau Kuttenkuler, Jacob Ambriz, and Ryan Riggs all collected multiple hits for SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23.  Nichols went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead SouthArk CC Stars Spring 23 in hits.
