Western cheer made school history in Daytona as the first cheer team from Western to compete at the National Cheer Association (NCA) College Nationals!

The team had zero deductions during prelims and again during their final performance,

Western Cheer placed 5th out of 10 teams, being the only Junior College in a division full of Universities that have attended Nationals for years. On top of that more than half of this team has never done cheerleading until this year. We have a handful of seasoned cheerleaders and only ONE that has done competitive cheer before.

What an accomplishment!! We are so proud of our Pioneers!!
