Riley O'Rourke Rides to the Top: Dominates Steer Roping on the College Circuit

Riley O'Rourke is on a tear this season, climbing to 1st place in the National Standings for Steer Roping and showing no signs of slowing down. With every run, he's proving he's one of the fiercest competitors in college rodeo.

At the Central Plains Region College Steer Roping, O'Rourke secured two round wins and finished 2nd in the average, putting his name high on the leaderboard and building serious momentum.

That momentum carried him to the MM Fisher Jr. Memorial College Steer Roping, where he roped his way to the championship title and further cemented his place among the elite.

Most recently, at the SWOSU Rodeo on April 18th, O'Rourke delivered a standout all-around performance. In calf roping, he placed 4th in the short round and finished 4th in the average. But it was steer roping where he stole the show once again, taking 1st in both rounds and securing 2nd in the average—a performance that helped solidify his reputation as one of the top all-around athletes of the weekend.

From consistency in the standings to championship wins and all-around domination, Riley O'Rourke is blazing a trail in college rodeo—and the season's not over yet.
