Jess Tierney is no stranger to the rodeo world. He was born and raised a rodeo competitor and continues to compete today. Jesse’s drive for the sport of rodeo and ambition to help upcoming rodeo athletes is what brought him to Western Oklahoma State College. Before coming to Western, Jesse was a full- time PRCA competitor, trained horses and ran cattle in the Badlands of South Dakota. Some of Jesse’s accomplishments include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Northwestern Oklahoma State University
  • 6-time National Finals Steer Roping Qualifier/5 go-round wins
  • 2017 Timed Event Champion of the World
  • 2017 National Steer Roping Circuit Finals arena record holder at 8.6
  • NFSR Record Holder at 8.3
  • 2016 Prescott Arizona Champion Steer Roper
  • 2016 Pendleton Round-Up Reserve Champion Steer Roper
